Travelpro Crew Versapack Global Review
In anticipation of an upcoming trip to Orlando with my brother and me, my cousin asked me what luggage I have. I told him that I use an AER Travel Pack for short trips where I’m on the move a lot, a four-wheel rolling carry-on when I’m doing short, multi-day business trips and a backpack/duffle bag for quick one night trips where I don’t need to bring my laptop. I also stated that this was just my carry-on luggage!
My cousin’s next question was where do I store all my luggage? I live in a condo and space is limited but fortunately, my parents live nearby so I keep all my big luggage and my rolling carry-on at their place.
Storage space is becoming a real issue for many Canadians. I remember when I was in Vancouver, I saw multiple condos balconies that were being used to store suitcases. It was a bit of an eyesore, but it made perfect sense. You can’t exactly just stack luggage or hide it under your bed, it needs a practical space. However, Travelpro has come with a solution with their new Crew VersaPack line

I’ve been using a Travelpro carry-on suitcase for quite some time so I was pretty excited when the new VersaPack was introduced. What makes this piece unique is that you can customize your luggage since you can swap your zip-in organizers.
A garment organizer comes standard with the Travelpro Crew VersaPack Global, but you can swap that out with the optional laundry organizer, packing cubes organizer and all-in-one organizer. Although each of those organizers is sold separately, they also fit directly into the main compartment so you can easily use 2-3 zip-ins at the same time. As you can imagine, this is great for people with limited space as you’re able to customize your luggage depending on the type of trip you’re taking.
With my current Travelpro, I would use that inside garment organizer to hold my laptop, but the exterior padded laptop pocket now holds laptops up to 15.6″ which is convenient since I can now quickly pull it out when at security. Speaking of easy access, the included removable TSA-compliant toiletries bag also fits into the exterior quick access pocket so there’s no need for me to dig through my main compartment anymore when passing through security.
Besides the packing features, what I love about Travelpro is how great the physical builds are. I love having the 360 degree spinner wheels as it makes pushing my luggage around so easy. What many people don’t realize is that these wheels have magnets in them so they’re always aligned. The handle is also very sturdy and has a stable grip so you can tell it’s built to last. Oh, that lifetime warranty is pretty impressive too.
Final thoughts
When I was younger, I always had the cheapest and worst luggage. To be honest, I didn’t even realize that there was nice and durable luggage until I was much older. Now that I travel on a regular basis, having solid luggage is a must. My TravelPro Crew Versapack Global review is positive. I love how it’s so versatile and how it makes travelling so easy.
