Red Robin has changed again – this month I got a bday coupon for a free milkshake instead of a burger. Their website says you can upgrade to a burger if you’ve spent $10 throughout the year there. 🙂

In reply to catherine. Catherine, No supplementary cardholders do not build their credit with their cards. They would need one in their own names as the primary cardholder.

Josh,

Aeroplan announced two years ago that you’d only be eligible fot a welcome bonus once per lifetime for the same card tier, regardless of who you got the card from.

You will still get the bonus if you got the premium card (Visa Infinite Privilege), assuming you never held the card before.

I have a brother who has health issues and has only a short time to live. His heart is so weak he is confined to his bed. I reside in the GTA and he in Gimli, Manitoba, that is an hour plus north of Winnipeg. He is weak but living, however I don’t know if that will be the case when I arrive in Gimli. If I obtain the required documentation would I fit the criteria for a bereavement fare

Hi Barry! I had a CIBC Visa Infinite card that I’d signed up for last year that came with a bunch of Aeroplan points as a sign-up bonus. This year, I signed up for TD’s Visa Infinite card that ALSO came with a bunch of Aeroplan points as a sign-up bonus. However, Aeroplan got in touch with me to let me know I would not be eligible for the new sign-up bonus points as I’d already availed of it via the CIBC Visa Infinite card the year prior. It seems that regardless of whatever (similar) card I sign up for in the future that may have Aeroplan points as a sign-up bonus, I will not be able to avail of them due to the fact that I had received the sign-up bonus points in 2024. Do you know if this is a new thing?
