Those are some fair points. I assure you that any article where I receive any form of payment is disclosed clearly and this article was not one of them. My intention was to encourage people to think of different ways to increase their income. I do agree with you that not everyone can do everything on my list, but maybe there are things not on my list that they can.

Your tips are on point. Many people have excellent skills that can be used in another way to make money. My article was a general piece to try and encourage people to think of creative ways to make additional income. Too often I come across people who complain and do nothing about it.

1st of all, thank you Barry for the opportunity to comment. Some blogs/sites do not give people this prerogative. So I do not take it for granted and I really appreciate your openness and sense of transparency.

However, I have to agree with Bob re: this article. The content is not bad at all and I see where you are coming from but it’s very vague and too broad to relate to.

The TRUTH is this: If you want to make extra money: find something you are extremely good at, have in-depth knowledge about and use your brain to find a way to MONETIZE IT (don’t expect other people or any article to tell you how to do that); If you want to save more money: learn to OPTIMIZE your finances with direct transfers to saving accounts using e-banks like EQ bank/ ING….if you want a better job: learn personal marketing principles and learn how to reach out (network) to other people via informational interviews and job shadowing etc… whatever you want to achieve use your brain extensively, sleep on it, try it and implement it.
