Now at retirement our pension income exceeds the income projected at the time, so we end up being taxed at a higher rate, and when we withdraw we will be taxed at a higher rate. That being said, it encouraged us to save. Now we save in the TFSAs. Hopefully there will be some left in our RRSPs to leave our family.
