					<description><![CDATA[If you&#039;re getting government benefits like the GST/HST credit or the Canada Child Benefit you shouldn&#039;t forget that your benefits will be reduced after your raise. There is a bit of a delay, so it&#039;s hard to notice, but it will happen the next year in July.

With two kids my child benefit will go down $135.00 for an extra $1,000 raise. Not as bad as income tax but it still makes a difference for a family making ends meet!]]></description>
