What bank name do you use in the OnlyFans settings? I've been trying to get this to work for 5 months and OnlyFans has all my bank info but the payouts don't work. I called TD and they said the payouts should be working and even asked OnlyFans to change the settings and sent a pdf of my bank number and whatnot. They said they would contact TD directly but it's been almost two months and it still isn't resolved. I've put TD as the bank name and it still gets rejected. When I use my normal CAD TD account I use the bank name "Bank Deposit CAD" and the payouts work through that but I want it to go to my USD account.

Bill,

You can transfer funds at TD between your US accounts online now. You just need to call them once to set it up.

Royal Bank is a much better option as there is no need to call anyone.

I regularly do 10k USD transfers with just a few clicks, and the money moves immediately. Works the same in either direction, plus there are no fees.

If you have a US cross border account that was set up on the US side, you should be good.

I set mine up about 5 years ago, and PayPal didn't ask for an American address.

Okay, I am already 90% of the way there, since I have a TD cross border account. I had tried to link it to Paypal a few years ago, and Paypal wouldn't permit it since I didn't have a US billing address associated. I will try again. Thanks for the follow-up!

Hi Chantal,

This article covers that.

Basically, you set up a US account in Canada with TD.
You go to a branch, and have them set up a cross border account with TD US.
You link those two accounts.
Add your TD cross border account to your PayPal account
WHen cashing out USD in PayPal, send it to your TD account based in the US (no exchange fees apply since you're not converting).
Transfer the funds from your cross border account to your linked TD US account in Canada.

I hope you are planning a follow on article on being paid in $USD to PayPal and then targeting those funds into your $USD cross border account. It was my understanding that PayPal would not do that for a Canadian.
