Hi, Barry. I searched online whether travel notice is required in using HomeTrust Visa outside Canada but couldn’t find any information. So I’ll just go ahead and inform them via phone call.

In reply to Barry Choi. Hey Barry, just thought I’d update you. Just got off the phone with Home Trust, as they won’t provide information over email, and they confirmed there indeed is a limit of 15 transactions per day regardless where the card is used geographically. Take care.

I don’t think the 10 transaction per day limit still applies. I have had this card for years and was not aware of it, nor have I ever needed to exceed this limit so that would explain why I was unaware; and I just went on their website and searched within their cardholder agreement and cannot find this detail anywhere, so I imagine it no longer applies to this card.

I did send Home Trust an email today inquiring about this and I am awaiting an official answer.

I haven’t messaged (or emailed you) your articles in a few years, I hope this comment finds you well Barry.

hi, i was wondering if home trust preferred visa credit card offers rental insurance to cover for Loss Damage Waiver LDW or CDW in 2022……..i checked in the card holder agreement and there is no mention of this feature. i checked on the insurance certificate link and again there is nothing about it. in the credit card features they dont mention this cover. i m not sure if home trust offer it or not, or may be use to offer previously? if someone can update on it. thanks.

In reply to bn880. The sad part is it had a real opportunity to be a winner since they were one of the first cards to have NO FX and no annual fee. Unfortunately, they keep getting rid of benefits and their customer service has always been questionable.
