You’re right, if your spending habits justify the fee then it can be totally worth. Some cards with fees have higher multipliers which can make them very valuable.

Cancelling cards actually doesn’t hurt your score too much unless you’re getting rid of your oldest cards which have the most history.

Sometimes the perks and rewards largely offset the annual fee. You need to some math.
Constantly cancelling credit cards to avoid paying annual fees hurts your credit score & file.
The best way to deal with annual fees is not to have them in the first place :)!
