In reply to Brad. Hi Brad, Your best bet would likely be Wise. It hold multiple currencies. You would open a Wise account first and then you can order the prepaid card.

I enjoyed using this card. Loading up by making a bill payment from my regular bank account and then transfer from Canadian Wallet to US Wallet when rates were better. Allowed me to save up all year and have a limit when travelling. Never encountered any problems and sad to see it’s discontinued!

Are there any other prepaid loadable US funds credit cards? What other credit card would be similar to the AC conversion card to replace it?

This card is the worst!
I loaded it up to pay condo fees and to take out cash on my trip out of country. I was able to do 1 cash transaction and they have blocked my card. I was out of country, limited cash and was not able to pay my condo fees, and other bills.
I reported it immediately and sent in required information and it’s been a week, still blocked. I have called and I have emailed. The email they sent back to me had typos and words misspelled, they also ask me for my bank information! This card has nothing to do with my bank!!!
DO NOT GET THIS CARD!!!

I agree, this card is junk. Takes forever to transfer and load wallet. Waiting days for money to load while I am in a foreign country. The concept is great but this card needs a lot of polishing. The other Mexican peso card was solid.

This is a terrible card! Would not recommend it to anyone
It takes 3 business days for your money to load onto the card.
The hassle of having to have it’s own app/ website is annoying
I would rather go back to the old CIBC prepaid card than the 10 currencies. I used to be able to load USD from a USD account, but with this card, you can only load CAD and then it gets converted to the currency you want. It sounds nice, it’s not- it’s the worst card I’ve ever owned.

I am very displeased with the card. I accept the fees for the convenience but the customers service is poor. There was a number of erroneous transactions on my card i.e. funds being withdrawn from the wrong wallet which incurred an unnecessary conversion cost and, even though my grievance is well documented and supported, I have yet to receive a resolution from CIBC. I liked the idea of the card but, because of poor customer service, it is going straight to the rubbish bin once I get my money back.
