If you earned less then $5000 of taxable income in a year that's less then 100 dollars a week. why would a government now support anyone when they have paid practically nothing into unemployment or taxes in general. Making $5000 in income is a year is not very difficult students who go to classes full time can work a part time job and make that in a few months. Why should the burden be on the taxpayer

It does absolutely nothing for those workers who earned less then $5000 income. Trudeau says no one will be left behind but he’s abandoning the poorest of the poor.

I have Diabetes and Lupus so working in restaurants and elderly homes are high risk but yet no money for me. I can see them be more strict on application but what do I do?

In reply to Dan Fenton. yes, you can apply your not temporarily disabled you are on disability benefits so read what it says. I don't believe you are exempt from the CRB benefits.

The government did say they’re going to address people who are coming off E.I. but now can’t find work due to COVID-19. Unfortunately, those details aren’t available yet.

I have been informed that my EI benefit is completed a couple of weeks ago and not to apply for EI in the future. My question is; I am a senior/handicapped individual, 70 years of age with a pension of 950.00 CPP and 450.00 Old age monthly. Can I apply for CRB.
