Yeah the AC conversion card isn’t bad for what it is. They also have better rates than what you would get at a branch.

We like the cibc ac conversion, eay to convert currencies. We bring cash from US which is easy to use most places, and would take out enough for incidentals if we used an atm. Have used it for a couple of years without problems.

I suppose you could open a card up in your name and then give it to the other person, but I’m not sure if that’s the best idea.
