The last time I checked, there was no way to choose a higher class of economy, e.g. “Standard” or “Flex” on Air Canada. This represents a change; the bookings used to be in “Standard” class, until Air Canada introduced “Basic Economy”.

Hi Mary,

Aeroplan Miles do not count towards Silver or Black Status with Air Canada, only actual miles flown would.
